Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Wrangell Tours, we want to ensure you have a great experience exploring our community on foot. Because our walking tours have limited capacity, we adhere to the following policy:

1. Cruise Schedule Changes & Delays
We monitor the Wrangell port schedule closely. If your cruise ship’s arrival or departure time changes:

  • Priority Rescheduling: We will automatically attempt to move your booking to a new time slot that aligns with your ship’s updated port call. You will receive an email or text notification with your new tour details.
  • Refund Eligibility: In the event that your ship’s schedule changes and we are unable to accommodate you in a new time slot, or if the new time does not work for your group, you will receive a full refund.

2. Eligibility for a Full Refund

A 100% refund will be issued in the following circumstances:

  • 24-Hour Notice: You cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time.

  • Missed Port: Your cruise ship is unable to dock in Wrangell or changes its itinerary so that it no longer stops in port.

  • Operator Cancellation: Wrangell Tours cancels the tour due to safety concerns, family emergencies, or extreme weather conditions.

    • Note: Our walking tours operate rain or shine. We only cancel in the event of weather that poses a safety risk.

3. No Refunds

  • No refunds will be offered for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour start time.

  • No refunds will be offered for “no-shows” (if you fail to meet the guide at the designated start time while your ship is in port).

4. How to Cancel

To ensure your request is timestamped correctly, please use one of the following methods:

  • Self-Service: Click the “Cancel Booking” link found in your booking confirmation email.

  • Email: Send your request to [email protected].

  • Phone/Text: Call or text 907-802-0057. If we are currently leading a tour and cannot answer, please leave a voicemail or send a text. We will honor the timestamp of your message.
